1. Increase developer conveyance speed at low speed
   [Service mode]→[System Setting]→[Software DIPSW Setting]
   Change the DipSW 104-4 from 0 (Normal) to 1 (Increase speed).

• Change DipSW 104-7 (Defalt). It is to prevent excessive toner supply and ejection.

• 104-0 to 1
  104-1 to 1

• 103-7 to 1

2.1.3. Countermeasure against screw mark 1

Purpose: To prevent excessive toner supply to the developing unit under either of following conditions:

• Toner concentration decrease occurs under high temperature and high humidity environment.
• At continuous low coverage printing.

Details of change: Change of toner supply control. To prevent drastic change at a time, toner supply
frequency is increased and amount of supply toner is reduced.

To correct the symptom, KMI recommends to apply the countermeasures mentioned in the "1.2.11 Developing screw mark" of C1070 troubleshooting guide V 2.0 and this ROM together.

2.1.4. Countermeasure against screw mark2 (Recommended for the customer who prints constantly high coverage job over 60%)

Purpose: To prevent decrease of the toner inside the toner hopper during high coverage image printing.
Details of change: Change of toner bottle empty detection control. Machine immediately stops when the near
empty is detected.
